Poor sales lead to Coke fears

Soft drink giant Coca-Cola today warned that third quarter and second half results will fall short of expectations due to disappointing sales.

The company said challenging operating conditions in key markets were hitting third quarter income and those conditions were expected to persist for the rest of the year.
