IBEC criticises lack of consistency in rates charges

The employers’ body IBEC has criticised the lack of consistency in the level of commercial rates charged throughout the country.

The organisation has also criticised the burden such rates put on businesses, which, it said, were paying €360m more now than they were four years ago.
