The ISEQ index of Irish shares was up 57.32 in morning trading today.
In the financials, Bank of Ireland recorded a 23-cent surge to €10.90, Allied Irish Bank (€12.92) and Anglo Irish Bank (€13.58) were also up, with gains of 14 cent and 13 cent respectively.
