The FTSE 100 Index extended its losses for the last two sessions to more than 100 points today after investors again struggled for positive news.

The FTSE 100 Index extended its losses for the last two sessions to more than 100 points today after investors again struggled for positive news.

Despite a solid opening hour, the Footsie was 30.3 points lower at 4307.6 by mid-morning after falling 75 points on Friday in the wake of disappointing jobs data in the United States.
