Exchequer healthy, says Goodbody

Exchequer returns for the month of July, just released by the Department of Finance, indicate clearly the healthy position of Irish public finances in 2004, say Goodbody stockbrokers.

Tax revenue growth has remained strong throughout the first seven months of the year, while expenditure growth has continued to grow below the rate set out in the Budget last December.
