My Travel decision won't hit Knock service

The decision by British budget airline My Travel to cut 540 jobs will not affect Birmingham-Knock services.

The company is to cut back jobs and fleet in a major costcutting exercise.

But a source at Knock Airport said tonight that its service to Birmingham would not be effected.

My Travel which operates services from Dublin and Knock to Birmingham.

The airline's fleet will be reduced by nine leaving it with 21 aircraft.
