Production up 1.4% year-on-year

The seasonally-adjusted volume of industrial production for manufacturing industries for the three-month period March to May 2004 was down 0.1% on the preceding three-month period, according to figures released today by the Central Statistics Office.

On an annual basis, overall industrial production in May 2004 was 1.4% higher than in May 2003.
