Friends First issues positive outlook for Irish economy

The Friends First financial institution has expressed optimism about Ireland’s economic prospects for the rest of this year.

In its quarterly economic outlook, the company predicted that GNP would grow by 4% in 2004 and that global growth would be at its strongest level in four years.
