Barclays to cut 250 jobs in the UK

The credit card arm of banking giant Barclays is to cut 250 jobs at its head office in Northampton in England, it announced today.

The redundancies follow the merger of the UK business of Barclaycard with the bank’s consumer lending operation earlier this year.
