ISME welcomes increased audit exemption

ISME, the business organisation representing small and medium enterprise, has welcomed the introduction of the increased audit exemption level for small business.

The exemption will increase the threshold to €1.5m from €317,000, ensuring that companies under the threshold may opt out of the statutory audit requirements.
