Fyffes complete Everfresh agreement

Fyffes today announced the completion of their agreement to acquire the Everfresh group of food companies.

Fyffes entered into on the agreement on May 6.

The Everfresh group is a leading distributor of fresh produce in Sweden.

Fyffes has acquired 60% of Everfresh for an initial consideration of SEK262.5m (€28.7m) with the acquisition of the balance of 40% to be completed in 2007.

Fyffes shares were up 4c to €1.70 today.
