CSO figs show Inflation climbing to 1.7%

Ireland’s inflation rate jumped sharply to 1.7% last month, according to figures released today by the Central Statistics Office.

The CSO said average prices increased by 0.2% during May, compared to a 0.1% fall during the same month last year.
