Consumer confidence in Ireland has stalled following eight months of steady improvement, it was reported today.

Reports this morning said the latest monthly Pulse survey carried out for The Irish Times had found consumer confidence in May was at the same level as in April, with 34% of respondents expecting economic conditions to improve in the coming months.
