The European Central Bank kept interest rates unchanged today for a twelfth straight month, sticking to its watch-and-wait stance as it sizes up uncertain prospects for growth and the impact of higher oil prices on the economy.

The European Central Bank kept interest rates unchanged today for a twelfth straight month, sticking to its watch-and-wait stance as it sizes up uncertain prospects for growth and the impact of higher oil prices on the economy.

The bank’s 18-member governing council, meeting in Frankfurt, left the key refinancing rate at 2%.
