Oranmore to benefit from new broadband network

A new €9m broadband network has been formally switched on in Galway.

Forty-five kilometres of fibre network is now in place to provide high speed, constant internet connections to commercial and industrial premises, schools, hospitals and private homes around the city and to Oranmore.
