Hi-tech packaging is future, says FSAI

Hi-tech food packaging that aids consumer information and choice will soon become a reality, according to the Food Safety Authority of Ireland (FSAI).

New packaging that changes colour in response to temperature, absorbs moisture release and gives consumers information on the condition of the food they purchase, is on the way.
