Ryanair reaches 80 million passenger landmark

Ryanair today announced today that it will celebrate carrying its 80 millionth passenger by giving away 800,000 free flights later this week.

Announcing this landmark, airline chief executive Michael O'Leary said that Ryanair "has revolutionised air travel in Europe, enabling millions of ordinary people to fly at affordable prices to destinations across 16 countries.
