CNG announces two additions to the board

Irish travel group CNG has announced that Dr Micheal Smurfit and Mr Ralph Manaker are joining the board of the company as non-executive directors, with immediate effect.

Irish travel group CNG has announced that Dr Micheal Smurfit and Mr Ralph Manaker are joining the board of the company as non-executive directors, with immediate effect.

Dr Smurfit was appointed chairman and chief executive of the Smurfit group in 1977. He retired as CEO in November 2002 and retains the chair title.

Ralph Manaker is co-president of WorldTravel BTI, one of the world's largest corporate travel management companies. Prior to this he headed up US Travel Systems.

CNG is a leading hotel room distributor and intends to raise new capital by way of an institutional placing and flotation on the alternative investment market (AIM) in London.
