Lowest inflation rate in five years welcomed by ISME

Business organisation ISME has welcomed the continuing fall in the inflation rate confirmed today by the Central Statistics Office.

The rate, which has fallen sharply to 1.3% from 1.7% last month, is at its lowest level in almost five years and is almost four times lower than the corresponding figure last year.
