5,000 people pay up tax arrears from offshore tax haul
The chairman of the Revenue Commissioners has told the Oireachtas Public Accounts Committee that although €184m has been paid so far into the Revenue coffers in tax arrears after 5000 people responded to an offshore assets clampdown, he expects this figure to reach €1bn.
Frank Daly also said there would be no change to Monday's deadline for voluntary disclosure because of the postal strike.
