Shares in eircom decline on return to market

Shares in eircom traded at a slight discount to their issue price this afternoon as the company returned to the Dublin and London stock market.

The €1.55 price tag for the shares - which valued the firm at more than €1.1bn - was towards the lower end of the offer range.
