Aer Arann to set to open a new business base in Galway Airport. The company says the venture will create 20 new jobs with a further 18 existing staff to be transferred to Galway.

Aer Arann is to set to open a new business base in Galway Airport. The company says the venture will create 20 new jobs with a further 18 existing staff to be transferred to Galway.

Three aircraft will be dedicated to the airport and there will be 95 flights in and out of Galway weekly on routes including Dublin, London Luton, Edinburgh and Manchester.

Aer Arann expects passenger levels through Galway to grow to over 260,000 this year.
