Household survey shows increase in employment

Today's quarterly national household survey released by the Central Statistics Office (CSO) shows an increase in employment of 31,400 or 1.8% on last year's figures.

This compares to average annual increases of 1.4% in 2002, 2.9% in 2001, and 4.7% in 2000.
