German car manufacturer DaimlerChrysler failed to break even in its troubled United States Chrysler division in 2003.

German car manufacturer DaimlerChrysler failed to break even in its troubled United States Chrysler division in 2003.

The company said the operation lost €40m at operating level, before restructuring costs of €469m.
