Irish Broadband scoops O2 digital media award
Wireless broadband internet access provider, Irish Broadband, has been named as the winner of the O2 Digital Media Service Provider Award for 2003.
"We are thrilled to have won this prestigious award," said Paul Doody, Managing Director of Irish broadband .
"Having officially launched in May 2003, by mid year we will be in a position to offer true broadband Internet access to 80% of the population at a competitive price."
Irish Broadband's wireless broadband internet access service is currently available to business and home internet users in the Dublin area.
Next month the service will be available to business and home users in Cork and by mid-2004 the network is set to be rolled out in Dundalk, Galway, Limerick, Waterford and Drogheda.
Irish Broadband is a subsidiary of National Toll Roads.
