Gates predicts an end to spam
Spam will soon be a thing of the past according to Microsoft boss Bill Gates. Speaking at the World Economic Forum in Davos he said that a three-pronged strategy would stamp out the problem in two years.
Gates said a lot of progress had been made during the past year to stop spam email. He said that filters and "human challenges" - in which a sender is forced to solve a puzzle - are both solutions that will help stamp out spam.
