Vodafone and O2 still market leaders

Ireland's primary phone service providers, Vodafone Ireland and O2 Ireland, boosted their combined pre-tax profits to almost €400m in the year end March 2003.

Figures from the firms that is to be filed with the Companies Office, show that Vodafone and O2 made pre-tax profits of €290m and €108m respectively.
