Eircom to accelerate broadband plan

Eircom has stated that it will provide high speed broadband internet access to all towns in Ireland with a population greater than 1,500 people by March 2005.

This is two years ahead of the Government's plan to make a broadband infrastructure available throughout the country under its National Spatial Strategy.
