New technology 'may reduce hospital costs'

Siemens have launched its new healthcare technology in Ireland which it says will reduce patient costs and improve the quality of patient care.

The technology, called HiMed, gives medical staff faster access to Electronic Patient Records and medical images that can be retrieved at the bedside.
