Dairygold management discuss redundancy packages
Unions and management at Dairygold are in discussions this evening to work out a redundancy package for 500 workers who are to loose their jobs at the plant.
The job losses are part of a rationalisation plan at the company.
It is understood around 400-staff have expressed interest in taking up a voluntary redundancy package being offered by management.
Dairygold said it may seek compulsory redundancy if more staff do not avail of the deal on offer.
