November activity in the Irish manufacturing sector grew at its fastest pace since July 2002, according to the latest NCB Stockbrokers survey.

The Purchasing Managers' Index recorded 52.8 in November, compared with 52.5 in October. Any reading above 50 signals growth, and this is the third consecutive month a reading has been above the growth line.
