Irish Broadband, the wireless and broadband Internet access provider, now gives coverage throughout Dublin city and has begun roll out in North Dublin, with the launch of it's two latest high sites in Leeson Street and Botanic Road.

It brings the number of Irish Broadband sites to 12 in the capital.

Paul Doody, Managing Director, Irish Broadband said: "Irish Broadband is the best option in terms of price and convenience for both business and home users.

"We are delivering on the Government's vision of affordable broadband access for all sectors of the community."

Connectivity to Irish Broadband's service is generally within a five-kilometer radius of a high site.

The company installs a roof-mounted antenna which connects the customer wirelessly to the high site.

Irish Broadband operates its own wireless network.

It does not depend on eircom for connection to customers.
