Encouraging signs for approval of Boston Scientific device

An advisory panel in the US have urged the Food and Drug Administration to approve a new device for the treatment of clogged arteries from Boston Scientific. A decision is expected early next year.

Boston Scientific already employs 2,600 people in Galway and is continuing to hire staff to work with further emloyment possible depending on the success of the device, called Taxus.
