Dingle tops highest number of self-employed

According to research published today over a quarter of persons employed in Dingle were either employers or self-employed, compared with an average for the State of 17%.

The report from the Central Statistics Office said that Carndonagh in Co Donegal, with one in five of its labour force out of work, had the highest unemployment rate among towns in 2002 .
