News Corp chairman Rupert Murdoch said that the group's affiliate BSkyB will not pay more for UK Premier League football rights if this is insisted on by EU anti-trust regulators.

Murdoch was commenting on European Commission queries over the Premier League TV rights contract, which BSkyB won with a £1.024bn (€1.466bn) bid.
