New technology park opens in Ennis

A new technology park being constructed by Shannon Development was today opened by Mary Harney, Tánaiste and Minister for Enterprise, Trade and Employment.

The 35 acre Information age Park Ennis will see €110m invested in it between the public and private sectors over the next 15 years. Planning permission has been granted for the first phase following investment of €9m by Shannon Development, which will provide 45,000 sq. ft of incubation, large floor-plate and own door office accommodation within the next year.
