Energy agreement more effective than tax : SEI

A negotiated agreement between the Government and Irish industry could play a greater role in reducing carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions rather than a sole reliance on taxation.

Sustainable Energy Ireland made the claim after an 18-month pilot study involving 26 Irish companies.
