South Korea lodges complaint over EU subsidies

The South Korean government has lodged a complaint with the World Trade organisation (WTO) against the European Union over "unfair" subsidies to European shipbuilders, the foreign ministry said.

The South Korean action followed an EU complaint in June, charging South Korea with subsidising its shipbuilders.
