German ecomomy minister calls for gas, electricity regulation

The German economy minister Wolfgang Clement, wants the Regulatory Authority for Telecommunications and Post (RegTP) to regulate the gas and electricity market also, the ministry has said. This confirms recent press reports.

RegTP is to set the terms of contracts relating to the use of gas and electricity grids by different companies making sure they adhere to those terms, according to a spokesperson.
