ISEQ closes down, FTSE closes up

The ISEQ index of Irish shares closed at 4410.29 today, down 6.06 on yesterday's trading close.

The FTSE 100 Index shrugged off the impact of America’s power problems to end the session 9.5 points ahead at 4247.3 – a new best for 2003.
