Euro decision disappoints traders with Ireland

Britain’s announcement that it is not yet ready to join the euro is a major disappointment for companies trading across the Irish border, it was claimed tonight.

Maintaining two currencies increases bureaucracy, administration costs and is time consuming, the chairman of the British-Irish Interparliamentary body said.
