The Chambers of Commerce of Ireland (CCI) has called on the Government to tackle rising costs for Irish businesses before they cause an economic crisis.

Speaking at the group's annual conference in Galway, CCI president Mark Staunton said rising costs are crippling Irish business competitiveness and putting companies out of business.
