Vodafone sees large increase in core earnings

Vodafone beat expectations when it reported a 26% increase in annual core earnings.

The company said that customer numbers increased by more than 10% over the year. Overall it had 119.7 million subscribers by the end of March, compared to 112.5 million at the end of December.
