The non-governmental Free Legal Advice Centres of Ireland (FLAC) has called for a fundamental review of the way in which the legal system deals with consumer debt.

In a report published today, FLAC said the Government has failed to introduce proper legislation to deal with the area of debt and unpaid fines.
