IFA to vote on partnership deal

The Irish Farmers Association's national council is due to vote today on a proposal to accept the Sustaining Progress partnership deal.

The IFA and other farming organisations walked out of the social partnership process earlier this year, claiming the Government was not doing enough to protect farmers at a time of falling incomes.
