Nokia to cut 1,800 jobs in network division

Nokia say it is to cut 1,800 jobs in its Networks division which is also to under a review of its research and development costs.

The division has been struggling and the company said in guidelines which it issued on March 11 that it would post a substantial loss for the first quarter of 2003.
