Intel to invest €200m in Co Kildare

The US multinational Intel is planning to invest €200m at its plant in Leixlip, Co Kildare.

Announcing the move, the Tanaiste, Mary Harney, said it would provide a boost to the local and national economy at a time when IT firms are experiencing a particularly severe downturn.
