Airbus to tender to supply official Govt jet

European plane manufacturer Airbus is to makes its pitch today to supply the Government with its next official jet.

The contract is up for tender in the coming weeks to replace the ageing Gulfstream.

However, recent speculation has put rivals Boeing in the running as the preferred choice.
