Eircom given go ahead to increase prices by 5%

Eircom has been given the go ahead to increase its' prices by 5%.

ComReg, the Commission for Communications Regulation is to ease the price cap on Eircom.

The new price cap (consumer price index minus zero) enables Eircom to raise its prices according to the rate of inflation, which is now running at 5%.
