Dell to move call centre to Bray facility

Dell is to move its call centre from Cherrywood, where it employs over 450 people, according to a report in the Irish Independent.

It is to move the centre to its Bray facility, where it already employs 1,100 staff.

With this move questions are being raised about whether there may not be job cuts, as it uncertain whether the Bray plant could accommodate 1,550 people.

It has been suggested that Dell may move its call centre to a lower cost location such as India or one of the Eastern European countries.
